A President Should Always Denounce Hate but Particularly When it is IN HIS NAME

I posted on my other blog an article I told you all that hate crimes would increase with Trump’s election and it’s happening that talked about the increase in hate crimes since election day and also noted how there has been no response from Trump or his team.

I want to take this opportunity with my first post as The Shadow President to say what a President/President-elect SHOULD say at a time like this and in fact should have ALREADY said:

-----------------

My fellow Americans. My transition team and I have been receiving reports about an increase in hate crimes since election day. These reports have been disturbing to me but what has been even more disturbing is that it appears some of them have been done in apparent support of me or in my name.

I categorically reject any and all acts of hate against any group whether that group is ethnic, racial, religious, gender, orientation or any other segment of American society.

America is a place where all are created equal and where all afforded the same rights and that is what my administration is about. Anyone who commits acts of hate is a criminal whose support I do not want and who should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and I will make it a priority of my administration to do that.

  1. I cannot imagine him or Pence doing something like this. The campaign was based on hate bigotry and was always bullying in it's nature, All hell would really break loose if he turned his movement of hate spewed message around. He is holed-up in his penthouse, his safe place right know wondering what the hell has happened to him.He doesn't have a clue of what he has gotten himself in to. He never expected to win. He's scared. He has to perform in a humane and decent manner without hate and hasn't got a clue of how to do it. It was easier to campaign,to rile up his followers. It was easy for him to be on stage and divide the country. He has nothing positive to tell his people, he doesn't know how.

    1. Unless and until Donald Trump proves otherwise, I agree with you 100%. People should continue to speak out each time he fails to lead particularly in the area of equality.
